Prince William on Thursday defended the British royal family after his younger brother Harry and wife Meghan accused them of racism in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. We re very much not a racist family, William, 38, told reporters during a visit to a multi-racial school in a deprived area of east London, according to news agency AFP.
Prince William has defended the U.K. royal family against accusations of racism made by his brother Prince Harry and his sister-in-law Meghan, saying the royals are “very much not a racist family.”

Prince William has denied allegations that the British royal family is racist behind closed doors following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
William, the second in line to the throne, attempted to shut down the accusations made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during a visit to a school in east London with his wife Kate Middleton on Thursday, CNN reports.
When a reporter asked him if the royals are racist, Prince William replied, “We’re very much not a racist family.”
