Title: Next Stop, NCAA Championships: Women’s Cross Country Team Claims BIG EAST Title, Men Finish Second

The Georgetown women’s cross country team claimed the BIG EAST title for the first time since 2014 on March 5 while the men put in a competitive performance, finishing second at the 2021 BIG EAST Cross Country Championship in Cary, North Carolina.
“I’m very proud of the effort of both teams, and we’re grateful we’ve had the opportunity to compete at a high level and to finish strongly,” says Alton McKenzie, director of track and field/cross country. “The effort we put in was exceptional as was the performance.”
