Contributed photo Board commits to funding new facility in next 3 years The Cassville school district is hoping to strike while the iron is hot, as the Board of Education has committed to pursuing funding for a new performing arts center in the next three years. The board approved a motion to prioritize the facility, estimated to cost about $8 million and done in two parts, the first of which is the performing arts center itself, west of the current high school building in between the building and Partridge Drive. The second part would enclose a space between the center and the high school and create band and choir classrooms, as well as a fire corridor.
