We can all agree that last year’s lockdowns were shit for everyone, though if one good thing came from it, it s all the new music we re enjoying now. Cara Williams, the founder of music PR and marketing agency Slow Clap, found herself in a strange predicament for this very reason. On the one hand, she got tonnes of inquiries from musicians who d written new stuff during lockdown and were eager to promote it (but lacked the necessary marketing content to do so). On the other hand, she saw her creative pals get knocked back for JobKeeper and struggle to stay afloat.
