LISBON David Anderson High School seniors and a handful of talented middle school students were the focus of the most recent village school board meeting.
The first video of a new series titled Senior Spotlight was shown to the school board and visitors Thursday evening. The video showed interviews with several seniors where they spoke about their favorite high school memories and their future plans. The seniors reminisced over nights on the band bus after a football game, playing hide and seek in the school, moments with friends and they all had shared a general fondness for their teachers and classmates as they reflected. All of them mentioned either college or trade school for their future plans.

VISTA, CA (KGTV) When the COVID -19 pandemic hit last March, we put the Senior Spotlight on high school students who missed out on the final months of the 2020 school year. One of those students was former Vista Panther Parker McIlmoil, who one year later, continues to pursue his dreams in the field of culinary arts. I became interested in the culinary arts when I was a kid watching Rachel Ray, Chopped, and other shows on the Food Network.

PORT CLINTON - Port Clinton High School announced the Senior Spotlight for February is Elliot Auxter.
Auxter is a busy student and accomplished young man achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts. His Eagle Scout project was refurbishing the City Hall lobby.
He is involved in many student groups and athletics at Port Clinton High School. He was a four-year member and captain of the boys cross country team, four-year member and captain of the boys tennis team and captain of the boys basketball team.
He has received the Kiwanis Scholar Athlete Award all four years of high school and named to the Sandusky Bay Conference All Academic Team.

The Falmouth High School Class of 2021 is the secondâand, with luck, the lastâgroup of students to have its graduating year directly affected by COVID-19. Our hearts go out to them as well as their teachers, fellow students and families.
This is not the carefree capstone year that many of the students had anticipated. Yet, like any other year, it has been filled with incredible achievements worth celebrating and important personal stories worth sharing.
To give these students some of the acknowledgment and positive attention they are due, we have partnered with the Falmouth Public Schools to start a new feature in The Falmouth Enterprise and on capenews.net: our weekly
