RWMC, RCB lauded for removing 13,845 tons entrails of sacrificial animals

Rawalpindi : The residents of Rawalpindi city and Cantonment areas have appreciated the performance of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) and Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) as both the departments successfully completed the Eidul Azha cleanliness operations and removed nearly 13,845 tons entrails of sacrificial animals during three days.
This year, excellent arrangements were witnessed in Rawalpindi city and cantonment areas to remove entrails of sacrificial animals and the efforts of the departments concerned have been hailed largely by the citizens.
According to details, Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) and Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) did a good job on the eve of Eidul Azha as the operations in their respective areas were completed on Friday evening.

Rawalpindi : More than 9,500 tons offal was dumped by Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) during Eidul Azha Cleanliness Operation, says a press release.
On the directions of Punjab Government and MD RWMC Awais Manzoor Tarrar, RWMC and Albayrak Operations Department launched a successful cleanliness operation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha. 3,539 workers took part in the cleanliness operations, 413 vehicles were used in the operation. 53 transfer stations were established at various locations in the Rawalpindi & Murree cities where offals, entrails and other wastes of sacrificial animals were dumped temporarily and were lifted immediately as huge dumper trucks were deployed at each transfer stations for prompt transportation.

Kimberley City Council Report
On June 28, City of Kimberley council held its regular bi-monthly meeting.
Councillors Kyle Dalum, Kent Goodwin, Nigel Kitto, Jason McBain, Darryl Oakley and Sandra Roberts were present along with Mayor Don McCormick.

Council awarded the 2021 paving contract to BA Blacktop (Cranbrook) for $338,947.61, not including taxes. The Annual Road Rehabilitation Program should commence in early July and be completed by late September.
