Four men accused of assaulting a spectator in a feeding frenzy at a junior rugby league game in south-east Queensland have appeared in court.
The men - aged between 19 and 36 - are each charged with assaulting a man, 35, who was left with serious facial injuries during the brawl.
The alleged attack occurred during an under-13 rugby league game at the sports ground at Wynnum, south-east of Brisbane, about 11.30am on Mother s Day.

Three of the men also face charges of assault occasioning bodily harm while in company.

The 38-year-old Capalaba man, who can t be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty at Cleveland Magistrates Court to one count of contravention of domestic violence order. The court heard the commercial painting company owner was 17-19 drinks deep and aggressive at around 9pm on December 4 last year, when he returned home after an earlier argument with his then heavily pregnant partner.
