Big 5 set to honour sustainable development experts at Egypt expo
CAIRO, 3 hours, 17 minutes ago The Big 5, a leading event for the regional construction industry, is gearing up for the launch of its Egyptian edition, The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards, which is set to open in-person this month at the Cairo International Convention Centre alongside The Big 5 Construct Egypt event. At its inaugural ceremony, The Big 5 Egypt Impact awards will honour the people, organisations, and projects that are driving sustainable development, innovation, and transformation in Egypt s booming construction industry. Across 19 categories, the awards will explore Egypt’s most outstanding construction projects and leaders. In addition, they will celebrate young construction professionals in the sector, and feats of inclusion and diversity, innovation and health and safety.
Egyptian construction show to take place in-person

The Big 5 Construct Egypt show will take place as an in-person event from 26-29 June at the Cairo International Convention Centre, according to event organisers, dmg events.
Construction activity in Egypt has continued at pace despite the coronavirus pandemic. According to GlobalData, construction in Egypt is expected to have grown at 7.7% in 2020 and 8.9% growth is expected in 2021.
Muhammed Kazi, vice president, dmg events, said, “We are delighted to confirm that preparations for The Big 5 Construct Egypt are well underway for our June event, and I am happy to reveal that re-opening this year comes hand in hand with a wealth of new impactful features designed to provide opportunities for the industry to network, learn and do business.
