Wilburn Larry Pritchett
Wilburn Larry Pritchett, 83, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, May 3, 2021. He was of the Christian faith and passed peacefully at his home of forty-five years.
Larry was a Vietnam War veteran. He served his country proudly and retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service (20 of which were active duty). He was a Gunner’s Mate Missiles First Class at the time of retirement. He traveled the world during his Navy career. Notable ships he served on included the USS LEAHY DLG-16, CHARLES R WARE DD-865, USS BREMERTON CA-130, and the USS CHICAGO CG-11. Larry received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Dominican Republic), Navy Expeditionary Medal (Cuba) for active involvement in the Cuban Missile Crisis, Combat Action Ribbon, and Meritorious Unit Commendation a

Funeral Set for Former Muskingum County Court Judge
92-year-old Tom Payne passed away Thursday just before 9:00 a.m.
During his career Payne was the Muskingum County assistant prosecutor under Richard Bridwell in the early 1960’s. He joined the law firm of Jones, Goldcamp and Funk in 1965 and partnered with Mary Vashti Funk and Carl Funk until his retirement in 2018.
He served as Muskingum County Court Judge for 25 years. He was very proud of performing over 2,600 marriages during his time on the bench.
Calling hours are set for Tuesday May 4
th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Payne will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in New Concord.

Tom Hardy, beloved husband, father, poppa and servant of the Lord, passed away Feb. 16, 2021, at the age of 90. He was born on Feb. 14, 1931, in Bellwood, Illinois, to Aaron and Laura Hardy. Tom was one of 12 children and grew up in Cabool, Missouri.
Shortly after high school, he traveled to California to assist with fighting fires and then joined the Air Force. He gave 20 years of military service working on B-52 and FB-111 planes.
After military service, Tom returned to school, obtained a Bachelor’s degree and
Teaching Certificate at California State University, Stanislaus.
He dedicated the next 23 years working in Christian Education. ‘Mr. Hardy’ was Administrator of Solano Christian Academy for 18 years.
