You may be wondering, what s there to celebrate? And to you, I say,
A LOT of things. We made it through a year of shutdowns, illness, and isolation. It is time we have a party to rejoice about the slow return to normalcy.
The Community Pathways of Steele County teamed up with Foremost Brewery and Mineral Springs Brewery to bring residents the Raise The Roof party on Saturday, July 17th from 6-11 pm!
It s a week away, so you still have time to practice your rusty interaction skills. In other words, you have no excuse not to attend! Especially because.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Spring has finally sprung. But with the warmer weather comes ample animal shedding.
Some breeds with a double-coat like German Shepherds, Siberian Huskies, Akitas, Samoyeds and Malamutes experience “coat blow.” Coat blow is when dogs switch from their winter coats to their summer coats.
A grooming kit with three essential tools is good to keep handy.
Brushes: These come with rubber tines, synthetic or natural bristles, metal pins, or fine metal tines. Metal tines are often found on what are called “slicker” brushes. The Delomo Dog Grooming Glove is an eco-friendly tool that can give your cat or dog a massage while de-shedding and removing dander.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. City officials say the “open streets” program that launched last year in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic was such a success that they’ve decided to make it permanent.
Mayor Bill de Blasio will sign legislation later this week making the program and the city’s “open restaurants” program permanent.
“What we learned in COVID is that there’s a lot of things we can do differently and successfully, and ‘open streets’ was such a crucial example,” he said. “It’s reimagining how we use our streets. We’re finding new possibilities all the time.”
