His missionary experience at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Limbang, a town in Sarawak state in Malaysian Borneo, has left an indelible mark on the life of Father Christu Kolabathina, better known as Ravindra Babu.
The Indian priest from St. Joseph Missionary Society of Mill Hill (popularly known as Mill Hill Missionaries) has served as the assistant pastor of a parish in Miri Diocese since September 2018.

The population of 90,000 Catholics in Miri Diocese in northern Sarawak welcomed two new priests on Wednesday (Dec 30).
Deacons Henry Saleh and Ronald Jimmy were ordained priests by Bishop Richard Ng at around noon, witnessed by family members and other priests at the St Dominic and The Rosary Church.
The ceremony was held under strict Covid-19 standard operating procedure, with limited attendance.
Bishop Ng reminded the two new priests, both in their 30s, to be dedicated and faithful to their callings to serve God and the church. You are called to serve God and the church and the people.

MIRI: Catholics in Permyjaya here will finally have a proper church for worship and other activities with a 1.5 acres land opposite Emart Commercial Centre granted by the state government.
“The land title was issued this year and now we will assist with getting funding. They will start earthworks soon,” said Minister of Transports Datuk Lee Kim Shin after attending the official opening of St. Anthony of Padua new church building in Tudan here yesterday.
Also present were Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting and Catholic Bishop of Miri Diocese, Rt Rev Richard Ng.
“Our Sarawak government has been helping various religions in Sarawak, especially with the establishment of Unifor (Unit For Other Religion).
