Resurfacing project to start on Route 454 in Shelton

SHELTON The state Department of Transportation will be resurfacing nearly two miles of road on Route 454 beginning May 23.
The project, which is included in the DOT’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program, will affect 1.89 miles of Route 454/Indian Well Road from 110 to Birchbank and will run through May 26.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 454 from Route 110/Howe Avenue to Birchbank Road No. 1. Traffic control personnel and signs will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for the project is from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
