For more than a century, there have been movies, and people paid to review them. The first film critic, W.G. Faulkner, began churning out weekly reviews in January 1912.
Since then, movie criticism has retained countless core consistencies while evolving to keep pace with the medium itself. During this time, the two respective arenas have developed what some might call a symbiotic relationship. Movies often, but not always, depend on solid reviews to succeed, and movie critics rely on the emergence of new films to keep their jobs.

The west has been considered as a place where no law and order has been formally enforced and has always been called “The Wild West” even in the film (Mitchell, 2013). However, the hero of this film Ransom Stoddard teaches the people of the western town of Shinbone reading and the history of America. He also explains to them the importance of upcoming elections.
The Republican Party has become the party of vote suppression. In dozens of states, they are working to make voting more difficult, because they seem to think that low turnout helps them win elections. A Georgia bill would make it a crime to give food and water to voters waiting in line.
Last week, the House of Representatives passed a voting rights bill providing for automatic and same-day registration, early voting, expanded voting by mail and other provisions to make voting easier in elections for federal offices. But it can’t pass the Senate, because the Republicans will filibuster it.

FRISCO - There s a classic old Western, 1962 s The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, that perfectly elevates the actor John Wayne to his everlasting pedestal.
Wayne is Tom Doniphon . but yet he s also John Wayne. The bad guy, Liberty Valance, is terrorizing the town of Shinbone, and particularly tenderfoot Eastern brainiac Ransom Stoddard, played by Jimmy Stewart (and yes, Stewart, too, is playing a familiar version of himself: a sweet, stammering pacifist.) It seems that Stoddard/Stewart is the shocking winner of a gunfight with the evil Valance, though actually, from the shadows, it s John Wayne who fires the shot that saves the town.
