Crews knock down 2 structure fires in Redding
Redding Fire put out two structure fires along E. Cypress Ave. early Friday morning.

REDDING, Calif. - Fire crews put out two fires along E. Cypress Ave. in Redding early Friday morning.
Redding Fire says the first fire, at the old Meeks Lumber building, began around 4:00 a.m. The second started at the Denny s near the I-5 around 4:40 a.m. The two buildings are only a couple of blocks away from each other and both on E. Cypress Ave.
Redding Fire says both fires are now out. Investigators are now working to find out what caused those fires.
