Tony Mistlin, a businessman who reminded us all that it is about doing our part to make the world a better place, has passed away.
Mistlin died on Monday at age 95.
Mistlin over the past two decades made it his mission to share his success with his beloved community of Ripon. His success at doing so can be heard in the squeals of kids frolicking in the Mistlin Sports Park water play feature, the sounds of kids and adults playing soccer and softball at Mistlin Sports Park, and can be seen on the smiles on the faces of countless couples who have posed by the water feature at Ripon’s Main Street entrance from northbound Highway 99.
New Exhibitions Announced At Mistlin Gallery
Mistlin Gallery (Central California Art Association) has published its 2021 schedule of art exhibitions. The exhibitions range from CCAA member shows, to student shows, to themed shows on a variety of topics 10 shows in all which will begin in January.

The retail gallery space in downtown Modesto will be open to the public with modified hours beginning Thursday, Jan. 7. Admission is free. The mission of CCAA’s gallery and gift shop is to give established and emerging artists from throughout the region an opportunity to show and sell their work. The exhibitions are a mix of member shows, invitationals and open calls.
