From horrendous traffic getting to the airport to inefficient security lines and unplanned delays, traveling through can be a real headache. The last year-plus has heavily affected travel and restaurants in Los Angeles and beyond. In the midst of the pandemic, LAX has been busy with construction and renovations, which means some significant changes in the operations of eateries, restaurants, lounges, and bars at the airport.
Because a lot of places are temporarily closed, LAX is even offering an airport-only food delivery service called Order Now that will bring dishes from across terminals, in case a particular terminal you’re flying out of doesn’t have many options. Frankly other than a lot of closures, the restaurant and cocktail situation hasn’t changed much in the past year at LAX. Here is an updated list of what’s open at right now and what’s new at LA’s busy international airport.

Last fall, as restaurants in L.A. faced an endless wave of changing COVID-19 restrictions, nine female restaurateurs from across the city started a virtual meetup.
