Updated 3/4/2021 12:56 PM
Watch candidates for Round Lake Beach trustee take part in what was designed to be a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.
Michael Jenkins, Sherry Perkowitz, Madelyn Staack and Millie Vargas, all political newcomers, answer questions about their candidacy and their positions on issues facing the village during the interview, which was recorded on Zoom on Feb. 24. Their opponents in the race, incumbent trustees Christy Davis, Chuck Husk, Martha Ibarra and Sylvia Valadez, did not participate in the interview. They did not respond to several requests to schedule a day and time for the joint session.
