AUSTINTOWN A 17-year-old township girl has been missing for 10 days, a police report states. Austintown police sent out a news release Monday asking for the public’s help. The department is asking for anyone with information on Mya Fisher’s whereabouts to call the department at 330-799-9721. Fisher, of the 500 block of Western Place, was reported missing April 16 by her father, who also told police he did not want her back at his residence. According to the report, about 1:24 a.m. the day before Fisher was reported missing she came to the Austintown Police Department to make a statement regarding domestic violence. The report states Fisher was asked by her stepmother to finish chores, and she refused. The report states a male relative then smacked her, causing an injury to her nose. The male relative has denied that allegation.
