MPI Media Group has announced it will release a DVD next year of actress Betty White’s 1970s TV program, “Pet Set.”
On the show, which debuted in 1971, she showcased “her lifelong devotion to animals, and the people who love them.”
The show was produced by her husband, Allen Ludden, and featured her “welcoming celebrity friends with their dogs, cats, birds and horses – in addition to a wide range of wild animals including tigers, bears, elephants, lions, wolves, gorillas, cougars, seals, kangaroos, zebras and eagles – both in the studio and on location,” according to MPI Media Group.
