Artist creates mini worlds from fruits, vegetables and random household objects2021|00:56 A photographer has created mini worlds by setting up 2cm-tall figurines in scenes made from fruit, veg and other objects from the house.The colourful photos show figures hiking over avocados, camping by a cauliflower and abseiling in a bell pepper.David Gilliver, 41, arranged one hundred dioramas in one hundred from the first day of 2021 up to April 10 after setting himself a challenge to boost his creativity.Other comic scenes include a man in a police line up with Gummi bears, a red carpet made of bubble gum ribbon, and a skateboarder on a spray bottle nozzle.David said: The main purpose behind the project was to maximise my creativity during lockdown and add some cheer online with my daily uploads. Double business award win for Grantham charity is ‘extremely rewarding’ Published: 12:00, 13 March 2021 A sports, education and wellbeing charity claimed a double award win at this year’s Journal Business Awards as its team rose to the challenge of delivering services online. Inspire+ were named Business of the Year, as well as winning the inaugural Covid-19 Bounce Back award, sponsored by Oldrids and Downtown, and Iliffe Media respectively. After planned services were suspended by lockdown, Inspire+ offered its coaches and ambassadors to schools for free to continue to virtually encourage mental and physical wellbeing in children.
