This year’s lineup consists of 13 bands that will be performing on the big stage.
Names like John Mayall, Samantha Fish, Mississippi Heat, and Vella are some of the headliners for the festival.
There will be 40 food and beer stands for people to come out and enjoy while they listen to the music.
“The nice thing about this is you come out here and you bring your lawn chair you sit down and take your sandals off an you rub your feet on the grass and kick back with a cold beverage and listen to some of the best blues in the nation,” said Bryan Shinn.

The District has just posted on their Facebook page the information on the return of LIVE in person Blues in The District to its home in Quincy s beautiful downtown Washington Park. To see their full post on their Facebook page click here, in the post they say. This summer will be the 24th season of the Blues in the District Concert Series presented by Blessing Health System. The concerts are held in Washington Park 5:30pm – 9:30pm and are free to the public. Kicking off this year’s season on June 11 will be Johnny Burgin, June 25 QFEST Weekend Mississippi Heat, July 9 Kent Burnside, July 23 Downriver Dan, August 13 The Flood Brothers and August 27 Avey Grouws Band.
