New South Wales Health authorities have grave concerns for a new COVID-19 case, without any obvious links to hotel quarantine or international travel, who has attended numerous venues across Sydney.
The man from Sydney s east is highly infectious and visited cafes, restaurants, cinemas, clinics and stores across the city.
Anyone who attended the following locations is asked to get tested immediately and isolate until provided with further information.
APRIL 30:
District Brasserie in the city from 11AM to 12PM.
HineSight optometrist at Sofitel Sydney 12PM to 1PM.
Barbetta cafe in Paddington 1:30PM to 2:30PM.
NSW Treasurer in isolation after being identified as COVID close contact 06/05/2021|1min
New South Wales Treasurer Dominic Perrottet has been required to undergo two weeks of self-isolation after being identified as a close contact of the state’s most recent COVID case.
The treasurer visited District Brasserie in Sydney’s CBD on May 30 between 11am and 12pm – the same time as the infected man.
Mr Perrottet entered isolation last night and has returned a negative test.

NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet is self-isolating at his home after visiting a city restaurant and bakery at the same time as a positive Covid case.
Mr Perrottet was at District Brasserie and Bakery in the Chifley complex in the Sydney CBD on Friday April 30 between 11am and 12 noon - at the same time as the man in his 50s separately visited the venue.
Mr Perrottet has tested negative but will isolate at home for 14 days in case he develops symptoms.
