Canadian Home Sales Rose 47.2% Year-Over-Year in December
Canadian home sales soared 47.2% year-over-year in December, the largest annual growth in 11 years, the Canadian Real Estate Association said on Friday. Greater Toronto and Vancouver areas both saw an increase of more than 20% year-over-year. The group’s Home Price Index was up 13% year-over-year in December. Reuters

While Regional Rentals Are in High Demand, Discounts Skyrocket in Melbourne, Australia
The number of days rentals in Melbourne, Australia, are sitting on the market jumped 40% year over year in November. Last month more than a quarter (26.1%) of all Melbourne houses and apartments listed for rent had their asking price reduced, compared to 14.9% in 2019.
