Malcom McKeon Yacht Design has announced that the build contract has been signed for MM332, a 33.5m sloop-rigged sailing yacht that follows the successful delivery of SY Liara in 2019.
MM332 will be built by Baltic Yachts in Finland as the Baltic 110, and builds on an already established relationship between the MMYD studio and Baltic Yachts. This will be the third vessel to feature Baltic’s innovative electric propulsion system and the yacht will also be equipped with low emission twin 129kW generators that use new Cummins diesel engines, designed to meet IMO Tier 3 emissions regulations.

Baltic 110 Custom has been developed for an experienced owning family and has been designed for long-distance, worldwide voyages. Equipped with the bespoke, signature electric propulsion system which is powered by Lithium-ion batteries and twin, low-emission 129 kW generators with Cummins diesel engines, the superyacht will have reduced emissions, higher levels of efficiency and a quieter drive train with reduced vibration.
