ArtSpace/Lima opening new exhibits for August
Make ‘Em Laugh exhibits: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., ArtSpace/Lima, 65-67 Town Square, Lima. Cartoons, caricatures, vintage comic books and paintings from illustrator George Kocar.
LIMA ArtSpace/Lima is partnering with Alter-Ego Comics and the Lima Public Library to bring new “Make ‘Em Laugh” exhibits to 65-67 Town Square, Lima, for the month of August.
The exhibition will feature cartoons and caricatures, paintings from illustrator George Kocar and a collection of vintage comic books, along with rare prints and sketches from various comic book artists. The exhibit will also include a reading room with graphic novels from local and national artists and a comic book workshop for kids.
