Robin Autopilot, a leader in robotic mowing technology and the robotics as a service (RaaS) platform, announced that it would be consolidating its corporate headquarters with its recently acquired franchise business, North Carolina-based Mowbot and relocating to McKinney. Robin’s new headquarters will initially occupy 10,000 square feet with an option to expand at 7850 Collin McKinney Pkwy.
Robin was represented throughout the selection process by CBRE, led by Rene Castillo, and Jackson Walker, led by Luke Franz. Robin is one of the many tech companies that have recently announced their expansion or relocation into McKinney via the Innovation Fund; other startups like Alanna.ai, MyTelemedicine, and ContraForce also recently opened headquarters in the city.

Wolfe Investments, a private equity real estate investment firm, has purchased the historic U.S. Post Office and Courthouse building in downtown Dallas. The building was redeveloped by Todd Interests years ago into luxury apartments. It was developer Shawn Todd’s first downtown adaptive reuse. The landmark purchase is the company’s second-largest acquisition to date, just behind the historic Rockefeller building in Cleveland, Ohio.

Yokohama Tire Corporation will expand its distribution network in the U.S. at Intermodal III Industrial Park. Duke Realty Corporation’s Dallas office secured a long-term lease for the company for the 431,630-square-foot facility in Wilmer, about 15 miles southeast of Dallas. This will be Yokohama’s fourth location centrally located to meet its customers’ needs in the Southwest.
