The Pirates have won nine games in a row. Harbor Beach is now 9-1 overall and 9-0 in conference play. Leading the way for the Pirates on Tuesday were Maya Pfaff with 14 points and Paige Anderson, Maddie Geiger and Leandra Wolschleger with 9 each.

Leading the way for the Bearcats on Monday night were Kyle Sweeney and Gabe Sweeney each with 17 points and Cole Hagen with 10. Up next for Ubly is road game at Marlette on Friday. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m.

The Pirates’ week started on Monday with a road game at Brown City. They traveled to Capac on Wednesday for a game against the Chiefs. That’s a lot of miles on a school bus. Harbor Beach then wrapped up the week on Friday night  with a home game against Sandusky and ran its winning streak to eight in a row with a 41-24 victory over the Redskins.  Harbor Beach is now 8-1 overall and 8-0 in conference play.

The Pirates are now 7-1 on the season and 7-0 in conference play. Harbor Beach’s only loss of the season came Feb. 11 on opening night, when the Pirates fell to USA on the road, 24-23. Leading the way for the Pirates on Wednesday night were Leandra Wolschleger with 15 points, Maddie Geiger with 11, Brenna Bischer and Maya Pfaff with 9 each, Mariah Jahn with 6, Paige Anderson with 5 and Taryn Arntz with 3.
