CA South to reinvent property near interstate loop, lands backing from Connecticut REIT Roughly two years after details emerged regarding a  local real estate investor group’s exploring redevelopment options for a site located near downtown Nashville’s inner-interstate loop, a different entity has surfaced and plans a mixed-use project for the site. According to documents filed with Metro, Nashville-based CA South Development seeks to undertake redevelopment of the 3.14-acre 16-parcel property, which fronts Eighth Avenue South at its T-intersection with South Street at Moni Advani, chief investment officer of Nashville-based Morph Hospitality Group (which owns various restaurants including Chauhan Ale and Masala House in the North Gulch), is one of the owners of the site. Advani manages Eighth and Division Investments GP, which paid about $8.9 million for the various properties in 2015, according to Metro records.
