The arts community in New Bedford is coming alive once again.
The COVID-19 pandemic certainly impacted the arts in New Bedford in 2020, but with a lessening of restrictions this year, events are starting to pick up.
Watching it all closely is Margo Saulnier, Creative Strategist for New Bedford Creative, a group formed several years ago seeking to enhance the cultural experience in New Bedford for visitors and residents alike.

#NBfestive Winter Places partners the City of New Bedford with Destination New Bedford, New Bedford Creative, UMass Dartmouth CVPA and the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park every Thursday through Saturday through the winter months. On those days artists, performers and downtown businesses will offer a variety of special events and programming in the city that are safe and fun for all ages.
