Allyson Dawn Bennett, 39, and Javian Neesmith, 21, both of Palm Coast. Last Updated: 1:38 p.m. A Florida grand jury on Tuesday issued four indictments for first-degree murder–two in connection with the shooting death of Deon O’Neal Jenkins, 25, at a Palm Coast convenience store parking lot in 2019, and two in the unrelated deaths of Dimitry Popkov, 39, last September, and Michael Joseph Burnett Jr., 33, in June 2018, both from fentanyl overdoses. The indictment of Marcus Avery Chamblin, a 26-year-old Palm Coast resident, in Jenkins’s death was expected. Chamblin was arrested two weeks ago following a 15-month investigation in the killing, along with Derrius Braxton Bauer, 26. But Bauer, a Jacksonville resident who formerly lived in Flagler and went to school here, was initially charged with principal to first degree murder.

FCSO Granted Four Indictments For Homicide

Jan 21, 2021 8:48 AM Bunnell, FL - Three separate investigations have now come to an end after Flagler County investigators were granted four indictments for homicide. Two indictments were reserved for Derrius Braxton Bauer and Marcus Avery Chamblin, two men accused of killing Deon O’Neal Jenkins outside out of Flagler County gas station in October 2019. Both suspects were arrested on January 7th following a lengthy investigation. That same investigation, according to detectives, included around 2,000 hours of work and spanned parts of Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Southern California. 39-year-old Allyson Dawn Bennett is also facing an indictment for murder. A release from the Flagler County Sheriff s Office (FCSO) connects Bennett to the June 2018 death of 33-year-old Michael Joseph Burnett Jr. A grand jury concluded that Bennett had supplied Burnett with a mixture of heroin and Fentanyl which ultimately caused Burnett Junior’s death. As Deon O Neal Jenkins and a friend sat in a car parked outside a Circle K in Palm Coast in the darkness of an early October morning, a man armed with a high-powered rifle concealed himself behind the gas station. At 3:34 a.m. on Oct. 12, 2019, the man with the gun emerged from the darkness and within four seconds fired 16 shots at Jenkins, 26, and his friend, said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly during a press conference on Friday. Flashes from the gunfire lit up the darkness. One of the bullets pierced Jenkins heart, killing him, a report said. Jenkins friend was hit in the right thigh and survived.
