Meanwhile, Connecticut’s all-Democratic congressional delegation voted Wednesday to impeach President Donald Trump a second time, saying he helped incite the violent mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6. There is “no question that the President helped to foment and incite an attack on our Capitol and our democracy,” said U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney, D-2nd District.

MANCHESTER, CT The University of Bridgeport Thursday announced that Manchester s Jay Moran will be rejoining the Purple Knights as vice president of athletics.
Moran, who also hails as the mayor of Manchester, recently stepped down as the athletic director at Southern Connecticut State University. UB officials Thursday touted him as, a highly respected member of the intercollegiate athletic community.
Moran previously served as the AD at Bridgeport from 2004 until 2014. He will assist in an advisory capacity beginning immediately and officially begin his new role on July 1, university officials said.
