In the early morning hours of April 8, fire crews and RCMP were dispatched to a property in the Lily Plain area, located within the Rural Municipality (RM) of Duck Lake. Div. 6 Councillor Paul Allman said the tragic event has been felt by everyone.
“The RM goes all the way to Rosthern but I think everybody in the RM feels for the family,” he said, adding he is also not surprised by the tremendous outpouring of support given how close everyone is in the community.
