Help is being sought for a Redwood City Family that was the victim of a DUI crash in Sonoma County. Four members of the family and a friend driving them were all injured while northbound on 101 when traffic came to an abrupt halt. Their Toyota Corolla was able to stop in time but they were struck from behind and pushed into the vehicle in front of them by a Chevy Silverado being driven by Augustin Delariva who was later charged with DUI. Since the crash, two have been released from the hospital but Lourdes Velasquez and her children, Ivone and Manuel Palencia, remain hospitalized. A family friend set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for medical bills. They have raised over $130,000 of the $150,000 they are seeking. The link to the site can be found by clicking here.

Six people were injured Saturday in a chain-reaction collision on Highway 101 initiated by a driver under the influence, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said 29-year-old Agustin Delariva, of Santa Rosa, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado at a high rate of speed on northbound Highway 101 north of Golf Course Drive in Rohnert Park when the vehicle rammed into stopped traffic.
Delariva s truck hit a Toyota Corolla, causing major damage. In turn, the Toyota was pushed into the car in front of it, a Mazda 3.
