Kevin Harrison Tarwater “The Eggman,” 65, of Wears Valley, passed away at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday July 13, 2021 of a serious illness. He was born on June 3, 1956 in Sevier County to parents, C.H. and Jean Evelyn Tarwater. He was a sixth-generation farmer in Wears Valley and took over his family’s egg delivery business, Valley Home Farms Est. 1952, after graduating from high school. His name, face, and laugh are known all over Sevier County. He attended Wearwood Elementary and graduated from Sevier County High in 1974. It was at that high school that he met his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon King Tarwater. He and Sharon were high school sweethearts, meeting the year he graduated, then dating until they married on Oct. 7, 1977. He was a dedicated family man, who enjoyed doting on his wife and raising two children.
