Eden | TV Tonight

☆☆☆☆☆ In the sumptuous surrounds of Eden life is dreamy. A pristine surf coast and lighthouse to the right, ethereal forests to the left and a pampering wellness centre populated by tree-huggers in between…. Welcome to Eden, Stan’s latest local drama where a chilled-out paradise is but a facade for secrets and lies and young adult romance. Shot in Byron Bay (and not the actual Eden NSW), the mystery begins when Scout (Sophie Wilde) returns home from New York. Her mother Saranya (Alexandria Steffensen) runs a wellness centre with boyfriend Huckleberry (Dustin Clare) which is home to robed retreaters spellbound in meditation, not far from hydrofoiling tourists.

Prisoner star Maggie Kirkpatrick 'still suffers from PTSD' after wrongful conviction

Share In 2013, she was advised that she was under investigation for alleged sexual abuse by Victoria Police. The allegations were made by a troubled young fan whom Kirkpatrick had agreed to meet at a psychiatric ward in 1985 and later invited to her home for a meal. Falsely accused: Reflecting on her ordeal this week, the 79-year-old actress told Woman s Day that the nightmare of torment continues for her despite the charges being quashed. Pictured as prison officer Joan The Freak Ferguson in Prisoner Fully exonerated: Ms Kirkpatrick was wrongly convicted of sexual assault in August 2015 but was cleared on appeal in December that year
