In the last year many new projects have been initiated in Thai Nguyen
With a conducive investment and business climate, Thai Nguyen is now home to more than 7,000 businesses working across the board with nearly VND100 trillion ($4.34 billion) in the total capital value.
Now, the province wants more large projects to be implemented in the province, offering more opportunities and helping businesses in the province grow stronger. Such events would ultimately contribute to building Thai Nguyen into one of the major development hubs of the northern midlands and mountainous regions by 2030, in alignment with resolutions laid out at the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

A new study has confirmed the important roles and significant contributions of female deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils during the 2016-2021 term, and called on voters to select competent and qualified candidates, regardless of their gender.

The study’s findings were shared and discussed on May 19 at a virtual thematic discussion, jointly convened by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH - Vietnam National University in Hanoi), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Vietnam, and other partners.

Vietnam s commercial center draws more people from elsewhere in the country than any other province or city.
The new Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI 2020) compiled by the United Nations Development Program and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee surveyed roughly 15,000 people in all 63 provinces and cities.
Among the many findings of the extensive report, researchers found that Saigon is the most-desired location for internal migrants, with 22.4% of respondents naming the city as their first choice. Hanoi was second at 13.7%, while Lam Dong Province came in third at 5.6%. Da Nang and Can Tho finished out the top five.
