Goshen Crossing Liquor and Wine Temporarily Closed, Awaiting COVID-19 Results
Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) has temporarily closed its Goshen Crossing Liquor and Wine store in Gaithersburg after an employee presented COVID-19 symptoms and additional employees were told to quarantine.
The employee stayed home with a fever on Monday and last worked at the liquor and wine store, located at 20004 Goshen Rd, on Saturday. The employee has tested negative for COVID-19, according to a press release.
Out of an abundance of caution, local health officials conducted contact tracing and directed additional employees to quarantine until they receive their COVID-19 test results. This resulted in a staffing shortage and caused the store to close on Tuesday.
