Una de ellas es nieta de franceses, españoles, dinamarqueses e ingleses y se formó en el Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte. La otra, nacida en la provincia de Córdoba, pasó de participar en Festilindo (recordado festival de la canción infantil) a estudiar teatro. Luego de 30 años de formación artística, entre las dos trabajaron en más de 50 obras teatrales. Tough week for âCitizen Kaneâ! Letâs hope its reputation can survive it.
On Sundayâs lowest-rated Academy Awards ceremony ever, âMankâ â director David Fincherâs Netflix project about Herman J. Mankiewicz, the primary textual author of director, star and credited co-writer Orson Wellesâs 1941 debut feature â won two Oscars. Thatâs double the number âCitizen Kaneâ won. (Mankiewicz and Welles shared the original screenplay award.)
Then, on Tuesday, word got out on Twitter about a cruel but honest adjustment made early last month to the hallowed 100% âfreshâ score attached to âCitizen Kaneâ on the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
