The exercise, which was held at Malinta Elementary School, one of the city’s 17 designated COVID-19 vaccination centers, was done in a bid to build the “confidence” of the residents in the vaccine.
“Gusto naming ipakita sa lokal na mamamayan namin na the local government not only purchased [the vaccines] but moreso pinagaaralan natin yung rollout… Ayaw natin na nandiyan na ‘yung bakuna tsaka lang natin pa-planuhin lahat ito (We want to show our constituents that we did not only purchase the vaccine but also studied its rollout. We don’t want to make plans only after it arrives),” Gatchalian said.
