Ken A Macaulay of Goleta, 1949-2021

Posted on July 20, 2021 | 7:27 a.m. Source: Cathy Macaulay Ken Macaulay Ken Macaulay passed away on July 14, 2021 at Serenity House in Santa Barbara after a seven-year battle with multiple myeloma. He was 72. Ken was born in Pensacola, Florida, at the Navy Hospital and grew up a Navy brat with his family moving several times, including several years in Italy while they were kids. He always used to say, I ve lived all over and Santa Barbara is the best place, and he never wanted to leave. Ken was recruited for gymnastics to University of Colorado at Boulder and competed nationally before injuries cut his career short. He graduated with a bachelor of science in business and made a career in accounting, starting with Sambo s Restaurants as an internal auditor, accounting manager at Motel 6, Inc., and ending his career at Soilmoisture Equipment Corporation in Goleta as chief financial officer.

Taguchi allegedly ordered and caused others to order the bundled testing option, despite knowing that the allergy test was medically unnecessary and the COVID-19 test returned false positive results, indicating that a patient was positive for COVID-19 antibodies when in reality the positive results were because of past or present infections with non-COVID-19 coronavirus strains, according to the documents.

Sara Sterphone Rind, 33 × Sara Sterphone Rind, 33, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at 4:28 a.m. surrounded by her husband, sibling, and mother. Sara was born April 6, 1988 to Stacy and Joseph Sterphone at West Point, NY. She was raised in Hillsborough, New Jersey with her sibling, J, where, in her sophomore year of high school, she met her husband, Eric Rind. Sara was an active member of school and regional choirs her entire youth, including a high school performance at The Met in Lincoln Center. Her love of performing extended to drama productions. She was a standout in a County College of Morris variety show and as Jessica in “The Merchant of Venice” at Playhouse 22 in East Brunswick, NJ. During this time, she also found community in playing and ultimately designing board games with a cadre of friends and colleagues, developing a lifelong hobby.
