Daily a council spokesman said that individual submissions would not be publicly released.
“All properly made submissions will be considered in due course and a subsequent report presented to council to decide whether to proceed with the proposed amendments (with or without changes),” they said.
The council did not answer questions of how many submissions were received or if they were supportive of the proposals.
They said individual submissions would be “treated as confidential”.
The council earlier said the proposals were in response to changes to the Urban Footprint under the South East Queensland Regional Plan. Kevin Covey, Mayor Jamieson, Peter Shadforth, Robert Flipp and then Cr Steve Robinson at the handover of Parklakes 2 central park to Sunshine Coast Council. Robert Flipp and Peter Shadforth own part of the 80 hectares of Bli Bli land slated for rezoning.
