CoSIDA Release (PDF) CLEMSON, S.C. Clemson junior goalkeeper George Marks received Academic All-District distinction from CoSIDA earlier today following his excellent performance in the classroom and on the field during the 2020-21 academic year. Thursday’s announcement makes Marks the first two-time recipient of the award in program history, as the junior first received the honor in 2019 during his sophomore year. Marks was the lone goalkeeper selected for District 4, which includes all Division I programs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and South Carolina. In the classroom, Marks carries a cumulative GPA of 3.93 through his coursework as a Psychology major. The native of Raleigh, N.C. is a four-time President’s List honoree and has been named to the Dean’s List on two other occasions.
