We celebrate it every day at Michigan’s Best.
Since launching our Michigan’s Best series in 2012, we have made two epic road trips in search of Michigan’s Best Pizza, visiting nearly 100 restaurants and getting nearly 400 nominations.
Each visit, each pie was as tasty as the next.

However, not all Ann Arbor restaurants plan to take advantage of that option.
Ann Arbor restaurant owner Adam Baru has already had to close one of the three restaurants he owns due to the pandemic, Mikette. But he says he does not think he will re-open the other two, Isalita and Mani Osteria, even if the governor gives the go-ahead for February 1st.

For Ann Arborites, this means support locally owned businesses in our own backyard. This year, give awesome gifts to family and friends that are a win-win. They get something cool and your favorite Tree Town shop stays in business.
FOR THE FOODIE
Gift cards are always a good go-to, but take your gift-giving to the next level by buying your local friend, family member or loved one dinner. Several restaurants now have pantries and markets full of their usual fare. Grab a pint of sweet soy glaze from Miss Kim, focaccia and pickled tomatoes from Mani Osteria or pasta from Spencer, and add them to an Ann Arbor foodies gift basket.
