KNC Beauty and BAPE join forces for this exclusive collection.
KNC Beauty partnered with A Bathing Ape (BAPE) for a new, limited-edition line of beauty and merchandise.
THE KNC BEAUTY BRAND has been known for bridging the gap between fashion, beauty, and inclusivity. And Kristen Nicole Crawley, the founder of the beauty empire, is teaming up with A Bathing Ape [BAPE] for a limited-edition line of skincare. This serves as the perfect combination for those who love both streetwear and beauty. The new line marks the second-ever collaboration between the two. This collaboration is a dream come true as Iâve been a BAPE head for over 15 years,  KNC Beauty Founder Kristen Noel Crawley says. âBAPE has always been an inspiration to me dating back to our first KNC Beauty launch with BAPE-inspired camouflage print. Being able to use this iconic design and apply it to the ethos of KNC Beauty has been a wonderfully fulfilling experience for me.â

For Theophilio designer Edvin Thompson, the beauty is in the details and for his Autumn/Winter ‘21 line, his first for the winter season, these details are sent straight from the future. “My debut winter collection is inspired by
The Matrix,” he tells me over a recent Zoom call, walking back and forth from a rack of clothes as he shows me some of his favorite pieces. “It’s an introspective dive about self-development and ascending, just helping people to find the superhero in all of us.”
Like many designers, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has also been a huge focal point for Thompson. But unlike some of his peers, who may zero in on the destruction of the past months as a reference point, Thompson looked up. “I think it’s really important to empower individuals who really are at the forefront of their community and really servicing their community,” he says. “These conversations need to happen a lot more often not just when they’re trending.”
