Day of Clashes With BJP-Sponsored Goons Bolsters Farmers Resolve

Mohali: A day after the Uttar Pradesh government tried to forcibly remove protesting farmers and their allies from the Ghazipur border, the Delhi Police and Rapid Action Force showed up at the Singhu and the Tikri Border in large numbers as well. According to protesters at the site, the police were joined by people they called âgoons sponsored by BJP and RSSâ. These people were determined to provoke people on religious grounds and disrupt the harmony of the movement, protesters said.

Farmers cancel Feb 1 Parliament march; apologize to nation, but our protest will continue, says Yogendra Yadav
The protesting farmer leaders have postponed their foot march to Parliament on February 1 against the three farm laws in the wake of violence in tha national capital during the tractor parade on Republic Day. Swaraj India President Yogendra Yadav said he was apologetic, but the agitation would continue. I apologise to the nation on behalf of the Kisan Morcha. The agitation will continue, Yadav said.Â
Yadav held Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti and Deep Sidhu responsible for the R-Day violence.Â
