SAN ANTONIO – Just in time for spring and summer outings, a variety of new park amenities and trails have opened in the San Antonio area.
That means more time in nature amid a stressful year, plus new and cool features like the Skywalk at Phil Hardberger Park.
The elevated, 1,000-foot-long walkway gently climbs 18-feet off the ground and connects people to the top of the Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge, which was also recently completed. ....

Local artist Leticia Huerta s sculptures from the “Bloom” art series are located on the River Walk.
SAN ANTONIO – A new public art installation has blossomed in the heart of downtown San Antonio.
On Wednesday, the city unveiled two new sculptures by local artist Leticia Huerta on the River Walk near the intersection of Alamo and Market streets.
The sculptures the latest in the “Bloom” art series resemble the native wildflowers Yellow Columbine and Lantana. ....
