A crash on State Highway 16 near Kaukapakapa has closed the road this morning.
The New Zealand Transport Agency is warning motorists to avoid area or delay their journey after a crash on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway just south of Makarau Rd.

Trained, qualified and ready to go – five new Police dog teams will be working across Tāmaki Makaurau, Wellington and Canterbury from next week after graduating from the New Zealand Police Dog Training Centre at Trentham.
The teams paraded before the Minister of Police Poto Williams, Deputy Commissioner Jevon McSkimming (Strategy and Service), Police colleagues, families and friends.
