The Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit reported Saturday 20 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
There are 271 active cases across the two counties that have seen 2,305 positive cases since the onset of the pandemic more than one year ago.

Of those, 1,988 people have recovered, while 41 have died. Another 5 persons who had tested positive for the virus died from complications attributed to other illnesses.
The new cases are reflected in this way: Simcoe (+4); Caledonia (+4); Dunnville (+4); Hagersville (+4); Waterford (+2); Cayuga (+1); and Jarvis (+1).
