Bromsgrove s Court Leet at Avoncroft museum. THE historic buildings at Avoncroft museum in Stoke Prior will be open to the public this weekend for the first time since last October. Avoncroft Museum has invited the Bailiff of Bromsgrove, Ms Joanne Slade, and members of the Bromsgrove Court Leet to formally reopen the site and its buildings on Sunday May 30. The event will not only focus on the reopening of the buildings but also a response to the overwhelming public support after recent vandalism of the museum. Nick Sturgess, deputy director at Avoncroft said: “It has been a very long winter for us at Avoncroft, but opening our grounds in May and the terrific support we’ve received after a vandal attack has raised our spirits. We’re therefore thrilled to finally be in a position where we can reopen our wonderful heritage buildings with the Court Leet and say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us during this difficult time.”
