Prof Nazir Is New Dean Of KU’s Faculty Of Commerce And Management Studies
SRINAGAR: Professor Nazir Ahmad on Thursday assumed the charge as Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kashmir.
Prof Nazir has 30 years of teaching, research and administrative experience and has held various important academic and administrative positions in the university, including Head Department Of Commerce, Director Centre for Career Planning and Counselling.
Specialising in Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Strategic Management, Prof Nazir has several research papers, articles and publications to his credit. He has guided several PhD and M.Phil scholars while presenting his research across universities and research institutions.

The announcement of his passing was made through Tyndale Biscoe School s social media page. According to reports, Laharwal was briefly ill before he passed away at his residence in Methan Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar. Laharwal s death was mourned by many former Biscoe students, who even shared their favorite memories of their beloved school teacher.

Prof Nazir Ahmad, a former Government College principal, was a great music enthusiast. For him, like Friedrich Nietzsche, a life without music would be a mistake.
